Wyatt (and his parents) had a fun Fourth of July Weekend. We spent the Fourth celebrating cousin Nathaniel's 10th! birthday and then the afternoon and night with Wyatt's beautiful and gracious Great Mimi, as we have for the better part of the past decade. This was Wyatt's first of hopefully many celebrations of the birth of our nation shared with Mimi. It would have been Mimi and Poppy's 64th wedding anniversary. We visited with Mimi and ate outside on the patio in Horseshoe Bay. It was a lovely evening with a nice cool breeze. We lit two chickens and some sparklers, per usual. We also watched the Big fireworks from Mimi's driveway (but Wy missed it because he was asleep).
On Sunday we went to Momar and Pop's house to celebrate Pop's 53rd birthday. Wyatt got to visit with Uncle Andy, Aunt Meagan, and another special Great Grandmother (Gigi). Grandpa got an ipod shuffle, some b-b-q tools, and a UT chair. We cooked out on the barbie--Ross cooked our k-bobs to perfection. We also had chocolate hazelnut birthday cake from Central Market mmmmmm.
