This weekend we headed to El Campo for a trip to see the Hesses one last time before they head back to Oz. Andrew and Yvette moved to Houston a few years ago for work, were married and had Ms. Amelia (Milly) and have another little one on the way. Andrew is Ross's paternal third- cousin-once-removed. I only know this because I took estates and trusts in law school and they teach you how to figure out familial relationships. Milly is only four months older than her fourth-cousinWyatt, so they played together. Milly knows many, many words so she entertained us with clever chatting. In addition to lots of playing, we went to Mimi's pool. Andrew took some shots of that, which I will post later when I get them. The kids had a lot of fun at the pool. Wyatt really enjoyed it this time. I think he may be a water baby after all.

Trying to photograph these two together was not easy. Milly is a little more compliant than Wyatt. But he was smiling just for the camera, which amused me.

Mimi gave the kids a little truck, they loved it. Unfortunately the battery kept falling out, so Andrew spent a lot of time fixing the little truck. There were also a few battles over who owned the truck. Neither toddler was willing to acknowledge that it was actually Great-Mimi's truck.
After the two-hour trip home we stopped at my parents' house to get Josie. Wyatt kept carrying the hose around, so I finally turned it on for him. He started off fully clothed, until we stripped him after he got drenched. He had a ton of fun spraying himself with the water.
He kept trying to drink from the hose which was really funny.
