Cabin Fever
Wyatt is this close to being a two-year-old. We are excited and a little scared. He is officially in the firefly class now. As we suspected his talking has really improved. All of the little girls speak really well. Wyatt not so much. Yesterday he told me "it's dark outside." And I actually understood it. I am very excited about this. Complete sentences Hooray. Every morning now he asks "where's Daddy?" after Ross goes to work. Meaningful communication has commenced.
It has been cold and very rainy this winter. Wyatt has cabin fever. Here are some of the things that we do when it is cold and rainy.
Pile every single animal on to the couch and then hide in cushions. This was really cute and fun until he went bizerk and removed all the animals and cushions onto the floor.
Get in the back of Mr. Henri's big red truck. This truck brought Wyatt an antique toddler bed. I am pretty sure he is ready for the new bed, but not sure we are. Now he has to ask us when he wants to get up on Saturday morning. When he gets his new bed, he could just pop up. Maybe in a couple months. He can climb out of the crib now if he wants to, but he doesn't. Not sure how long that will last.
