We are really just in survival mode around here, but trying our best to keep some sense of normalcy for Wyatt. Of course, this is easier said than done when you go from two parents to one-and-a-half. Despite great efforts, there's simply no way to eliminate the impact of having your momma confined to the bed or couch all day. Wyatt has been really sweet and understanding about this situation--he brings my pillows for me from room to room (even adding pillows when he thinks I need an extra for my belly), he brings the things he needs for me to dress his little scrapes or repair his toys over to me on the couch. But, he is still having a hard time, expressed by regression in potty training and being much more clingy with Ross. Bobo and Pops have been picking up a lot of slack, taking care of Wyatt so Ross can keep the house under control. But Wyatt wants his Daddy's attention a lot more than usual. We are hoping things smooth out for all of us over the coming weeks if I can stay out of the hospital
Prior to my bed rest days, I took a few pictures of Wyatt doing his usual things and visiting Papa Hendo and Miss Kathleen's house where there was a baby deer.
