Not Much . . .
Wyatt had a fairly uneventful week. On Friday, I got a call from babyschool telling me that three of Wyatt's classmates had hand, foot, and mouth disease. This call was made while Ross and I were putting on a CLE seminar, so the timing was not good. I figured that in all likelihood he was going to get the illness and going home four hours early when all the other kids were already symptomatic wasn't going to change that. Thankfully (fingers crossed) he has yet to show any signs of illness. He has, however, been showing signs of teething and tooth number five has finally erupted. Tooth number six is close behind. Wyatt is not a really bad teether, so we are just glad he's getting a few more chompers. Saturday, we went on a "tourist field trip" to South Congress (or SoCo, as the cool folks call it). We ate at Enotecha and looked at some stuff. That's about it. Sunday was filled with chores and visiting Momar and Pops. The picture below shows Wyatt standing. He's been doing this a lot and trying to take steps. I think he was telling me something about his toys in this shot.

I am scared by any disease called hand, foot, and mouth... but W sure looks cute in striped pants!
He did catch it and apparently there are worse things, all of which I am sure he will contract in the coming months. My heart did stop for a few seconds before I started googling after the day care called me. Hand, foot and Yikes! His Dad says I dress him like a clown prisoner. Oh well, I like them.
