Birthday Fun!
Wyatt had a fabulous birthday. I am not sure what could have possibly made it more fun for him. He woke up demanding muffins (I had made pumpkin cream cheese muffins for his school birthday party) and I obliged. I kept telling him happy birthday and telling him about the party. He kept talking about muffins. We started off the day as we usually do on Saturday by going to meet Teresa and Joe on the trail for a walk. Then after the walk, Pops and Momar came to the trail and picked Wyatt up to take him to the Texas Independence Day parade. Then they went to the Farmer's Market. Pretty exciting day by 11:0o a.m. After that they took a nap. Meanwhile Ross and I were frantically redecorating Wyatt's room and getting ready for his park party. When Wyatt got home from my parents' house he saw his new room. He was pretty excited, though in his usual low key way. Airplanes! And a big boy bed! New dresser! Then we went to the park where lots of his friends and family came to celebrate. We had so much fun. Wyatt was in a great mood and really enjoyed it. Except for when we sang happy birthday. That was a little much for him. He got to eat two pieces of cake (Bobo argued for the second piece). Those who know me, know I am little AR about what Wyatt eats, though I try not to be too crazy. Anyway, a first, much less second piece of dessert is unheard of (uh, for him, not me). Birthday score! Tonight I tucked the sweet boy into his new bed. He went right to sleep. We'll see how this toddler bed thing works out in the morning. Luckily for me tomorrow is Ross's morning to get up with him.

I love the new room.
So glad Wyatt had a good birthday!
What a great room! Love that Wyatt had such a good day. Norah and I looked at the pictures together (she is a blog enthusiast). She doesn't call him Wyatt, it is either Wy-Wy or Wy-Ry-It.
