Goodbye, Hello

We kind of missed Goodbye to 2010, but better late than never. 2010 was not a bad year. We celebrated Wyatt's second birthday in March, moved to our new house in April, took a short trip to San Diego in May, a little family trip to Port Aransas in June, celebrated Uncle Eric's marriage in Maine in August, and coasted safely through the fall and winter. There's nothing to complain about in a fairly quiet and peaceful year. So, goodbye 2010. Hello 2011. Too early to predict how this year will go. The economic woes of our state and nation weigh heavily on my mind. Here's to hoping that some of our public servants will have the wisdom and fortitude to get us through this year without major disaster. The Henderson family 2011 has started off lightly with some trips to the park, a Chuck E. Cheese birthday party, a lot of art projects, and Ross's skillful handiwork on our new shed (photos coming soon). My hope is for us, our families and friends to remain employed, heathy, and happy in the new year. And that Wyatt will have a great fourth year. I haven't taken a single photo in 2011 (I WILL replace the camera batteries very soon), but here's one of my favorites from 2010. Wyatt and Leah. He has some serious love for that girl.
