Happy Valentine's Day

The weekend before Valentine's Day I got a stomach virus (most likely from this cute little guy who was sent home from school on Friday with some mild tummy woes). Anyway, I did not move from the bed between 2 pm on Saturday and Monday morning. Thankfully Ross and Wyatt were both fine. Ross did all the work of two parents for the weekend, with a little help from Bobo. Wyatt took care of me by coming into the room every now and then to administer hugs and cuddles to me. Lying in the bed I would suddenly hear him announce, "I'm going to give Mommy a cuddle." Great medicine. I realized that Valentine's Day was coming up but there was just no way I could get up to do anything. Of course, Daddy came through. He remembered to get Valentine's cards for everyone, including the kids at Wyatt's school. He got Wyatt a really cute card and some candy hearts. This little thoughtful gesture made Wyatt VERY happy. Wyatt also got a card from Bobo and Mimi and was very excited about those. Wyatt and I are so lucky to have such a wonderful Ross to take care of us.
