Wallis: Two Months

Baby Wallis is now a real baby. She's not a big girl but she's headed toward normal size, rather than a miniature of a baby. I really have no idea how much she weighs. The last time I weighed her was about three weeks ago and she was just over 8 lbs. We go in for her two month appointment on Monday, so we will see how big she is. I thought she would never get out of newborn clothes and now she is wearing 0-3 months and 3 month size in some clothes. She is really a good baby. She was consistently sleeping 6-7 hours eating then doing another few hours and one night she slept 9 hours straight! She was also taking two rather predictable naps per day. Until this week. This week has been one good 5-6 hour stretch and very little napping. Oh well, that's how it goes with baby sleepers. Just when you expect sleep, they show you whose boss. She's my sweet little doll baby and I am just happy that she does so well most of the time. Her likes include nursing, the playmat, looking at her brother, and being tended to almost every night by Bobo during her grouchy time of 5-8. Bobo has lots of tricks to keep her crying to a minimum during the evenings. Wallis also loves her nightly massage and sometimes the bath that follows. And oh, yeah, she has very blue eyes, that look like they might stay that way. They are a very similar color to Aunt Christie's so we think they might be light. We've also almost finished her nursery (pictures to follow soon).
