Wallis's First Birthday

Wallis had a wonderful first birthday. We celebrated on Sunday, September 2, two days before her real birthday. She had a BBQ just like we did for Wyatt's first birthday. Lots of family and just a couple of our close friends came. Wallis was not sick; she was well rested and very cheerful. She enjoyed her friends, her cupcakes!, and gifts. Wallis is my darling sweet girl. I think everything about her (except the 4 a.m. wakings) is absolutely precious. She is sweet, happy, clever and tiny. She makes me laugh every day. She loves me, too. She is a bit of a momma's girl, but she loves her Daddyman, Wyatt, and Bobo lots, too. She says quite a few words, at least a dozen, and does a few signs. I am rarely unsure of what she wants. Walli is still an excellent eater. She still has only has two teeth. She walks a bit, but is not truly a biped, yet. She is just moving up to the toddler class and enjoys being with her friends at school. Her hobbies (other than eating) include playing with brother's stuff, swimming (not actually swimming), and riding in the ergo. She never turns down an opportunity for cuddles. Just like her brother, I am pretty sure she hung the moon.
Cupcake Time!

The toy may good, but the box is better.

Hi, blue-eyed doll baby!

My cupcakes turned out pretty well.  I also had cows and pigs.  I'm not too crafty so I was pretty excited.

How do you like it, little sister?

With her Great-Mimi.

With her Gigi.  A little tired at the end of the day.
