Here are photos of our journey to putting up Wyatt's first Christmas tree. It took us six days to buy the tree, put it up, add lights and, finally, ornaments. Here is the finished product. Yes, it has a tilt, but that's part of the charm.

And it is all lit! I love Christmas trees and it is one of the few things about Christmas that Ross really enjoys. The beautiful lush Noble Fir.

Ah yes, time to touch the tree.

On Day Six Ross and Wyatt check out the finished product. Wyatt decided to climb over Daddy for some unknown reason. Just for fun, I guess.

Wyatt helps put the lights on by trailing behind Dad and trying to grab them.

Ross puts the tree up in the living room.

On Day Three, Wyatt helps unload ornaments.

After selecting our tree, we went over to
Momar and Pops' house to check out their fully dressed Christmas tree.

Candidate No. 2 is much too tall, also. Ross likes gorgeous towering firs.

Keeping an eye on Dad's next move in sizing up another tree.

On Day One, we help Daddy inspect candidate No. 1. This was a beautiful tree, but at three feet taller than Ross, it was much too large for our house.

Your tree looks great!
I can't do a real tree--too messy! I did once when I was 24 and vowed never again.
Mike and I are finally going to buy our own (fake, pre-lit) tree together tomorrow. Awwww. . .
