What To Do On The Weekend
Wyatt doesn't do a whole lot on the weekends. He spends most of his time scooting around the house chasing Josie, trying to eat some plants, and getting anything that he can find. Sometimes he will nap, A LOT. And sometimes he will nap as little as humanly possible to get by. Here are some pictures of him filling the time being busy. What you will not see is any pictures of him cuddling with his parents. He is not a cuddler. Too much to do. He will ask to be picked up (arms up whining=pick me up, please) but two minutes later he MUST get back down to chase Josie. Or peer into the shower--often while it is in use! Or check out the dishwasher, and try to climb into it. Here is a little photojournal of Wyatt's weekend fun.
Start by standing under the table in your pajamas. It is never too early to start getting on with the day.
Then go yank the blanket off of the couch and crawl around the house with it. Never know when you might want to take a rest or play peek-a-boo. Gotta be ready.
Then after you've dressed and grabbed the blanket, go back and stand under the table some more while Dad reads the paper.
After you've had a wardrobe change because you puked up your other outfit, go back and find your blanket and chase Josie around some more to see if she will try to bite it. Then go pull the highchair around the kitchen until it is completely wedged between the fridge and the bar. Scream until a big person fixes it. Repeat the whole routine. Oh, and when your mom tries to read a book to you, grab the book away, throw it and then start to crawl as fast as you can and see if she will chase you.
