Wyatt had a few moments of naughtiness this weekend. First, in the early morning while Daddy was only half awake on tot watch, Wyatt kept climbing into his toy bin. Daddy repeatedly told him not to do because of risk of injury. Wyatt kept putting one leg over the edge of the bin and looking back at Daddy. Answer? Uh, still "no." Apparently, Wyatt figured out a clever way around the impediment of parental disapproval. Throw every toy out of the bin and push it around the other side of the sofa. No way Daddy will lift his head to see Wyatt climbing into the bin then. Yeah, right. Just to make sure, you must peek around the sofa, make eye contact with the Daddy and then resume your activity when you are sure he is no longer looking. Of course, the inevitable happened and Wyatt tumped over in the toy bin. He then came wailing into the bedroom to find his mother and report about how neglectful Daddy was to let this happen.
Also, naughty? Climbing onto the diapers while naked and then standing up. Totally safe.
No, he did not pick all of these up. We are getting there, though. He can and will pick up a few before he flits off to something more interesting and productive.
