My Ichiban

Very soon my Ichiban Baby is going to be a big brother instead of an only child. While I am very excited that he is getting a little sister, I am a little concerned about dividing my attention between two sweet babies. I am guessing most moms feel this way when they add another member to the family, but it still leaves me a little sad. Being eight months pregnant and hormonal probably doesn't help. I just love this little person so much. His personality is nothing like I thought it would be when he was a baby. He is much more outgoing, playful, and funny than anticipated. He is, however, just as independent as I thought he would be. He expresses nothing but excitement and love at the mention of his baby sister, but I still worry about how he will adjust. He has also been a little more needy of my love and attention lately so it feels like it will hard when I can't give him all he wants. So moms of two plus--is it hard to divide your time and attention between two sweet babies? (Yes, I know Wyatt isn't even close to being a baby anymore, but he's still my baby). Here are some pictures from the Square Dance last month. It is one of our favorite events every year.
